You put the dream in my reality

I’m actually so tired that I’m considering going to bed soon, and it’s not even 10pm yet haha. Worked out for 2 hours today. Last week Gro and I worked out 4 days. Pretty good start huh? I’m not noticing much difference yet though, but we’ve only been working out for about 3 weeks.
Sarah had her baby! He was born 6am yesterday, I’ll probably go see her on Wednesday
Working out again tomorrow and then Gro and I are having lunch, and shopping for a gift for the baby.
I’m off work for a week

I exchanged my laptop, it was running very hot and I got extremely low FPS when playing FFXI. I exchanged (and paid the price difference) for an Acer Aspire 5930G.

So far so good It runs about 20 degrees C cooler than the other one. I think I’ll be really happy with this laptop. I got it on Tuesday, and have installed almost everything I need and use already.
Let’s see. Tuesday was quite busy. I got up around 9:30am and went to the gym with Gro. We worked out for over an hour, I came home and showered and headed out again, to exchange laptop, and then we went to visit Expo.. We headed back to Gro’s after, Erik made us dinner while we looked for horses to buy. Yep. I’m getting a horse! Most likely from Denmark. I found one that I really really like, so I’m crossing my fingers that she’s not sold when we go to Denmark in 3 weeks.
I’ve been doing pretty okay lately.

Today was the first time in a very very long time that I woke up and didn’t feel like complete shit.
I’ve realized as I’ve been here in Norway for the past year that I don’t have any desire to move back to the States. I had a really hard time telling Mark this though, so it just added up. I broke down and told him I just couldn’t go through with it, because I know with how I am now with everything, I just wouldn’t be happy there. I’ve always put others before me, so I think it’s time to think about myself too. So I ended up telling him he’d have to move here, or we’d probably have to end things, seeing how hard it’s been on the both of us having a long distance relationship for the past year, when we’d already lived together. I was scared to death he’d refuse to move, and therefor ending things, but we had a long talk on the phone yesterday, and he said he’s willing to move here and try. We made a compromise, I go back to the States for a month or so, to pack things up, and sell off things we don’t need, and then we get on the plane together, to move here.
I’m really glad how things turned out.

I’m sick and stayed home from work. Probably staying home tomorrow too hehe. I got my new laptop though

Mark and I have been together for 2 years today.
There have been a lot of ups and downs and a lot of back and forth, but we’ll make it. I know we will.

Yep you read right. Yesterday after I had lunch and walked around in town with Gro and Sarah, Gro and I made the trip to the gym and enrolled! After that we walked back downtown and I went shopping for gym clothes I got pants and shirts and everything I need pretty much except shoes but Erik (Gro’s awesome boyfriend) picked us up and we went to Forus (10 minute drive) where I picked up shoes. After that we went to see Expo (Gro’s Arabian horse) - horses here are on grass in the summertime and then we had ice cream, woo
Today I got up around 8:30 (I didn’t work before 2pm!) and went to the gym! Gro and I had agreed on meeting at 10 and work out for an hour, we actually worked out for over an hour. It felt pretty damn good though, and I’m tired in a good way Going again tomorrow at 10am.

My layout looks crappy in the IE at work.. I’ll have to look when I get home to see if it looks as crappy on the updated IE. If it does, I’m changing it. Shame really cause I really like this layout.
Sold my old laptop Actually sold it to a co-worker (and also a fellow FFXI player, though she plays on Hades). So I’m ehnding up paying about $400 total for my new laptop. Totally worth it
I’m meeting up with Gro and Sarah tomorrow. We’re gonna have coffee and then look around - aka shopping, haha. We’ll see what I come home with this time!

It’s quite a nice upgrade from my Gateway, which is a AMD Athlon 2.2 gigs, no dual core or anything, with 2 gigs of ram and a 100 gig hdd. And, my work will pay for some of it, and I got it a lot cheaper cause of work connections and stuff. Hehe. It should be here in a week or so.
I really wanted to pick up a Macbook today, but they were sold out. They also sold out of the 30 gig iPod classics pretty fast - so no new iPod for me. I’m happy with my Nano though. I did end up getting new speakers though, JBL Spot ones. Tested them quite a bit already and I’m very glad I bought them! They have a neat touch-thing to up or down the volume.. I was a that damn store at 6:30am yet there was a long lineup of like 100 people. They’d only had 6 macbooks on sale, and 5 iPods or so. Sucks but I got a new laptop out of it anyway, and it’ll end up being cheaper cause of my work deal and stuff
Arthur (who I traveled in Japan with) invited me to his wedding in Vancouver! I really want to go, I’d be staying for free at Jeff’s so I’d pretty much only need spending money and the plane ticket.. I’m fairly sure I can get two weeks vacation time at the end of August.. Hmm! Decisions, decisions!

I won’t be going to Oslo cause my boss couldn’t find anyone to cover my shift. I’ve been pretty mad about it since they told me. I NEVER take a day off and now they can’t find someone to cover for me for one day.. Gah.
I worked all week pretty much, only had Wednesday off. Was on the phone switchboard Monday, Tuesday and Friday and then in my reception on Thursday. I like the phone switchboard cause the day passes really fast cause there’s always something to do but I hate it cause I get so annoyed at the people who call haha. I still wanna say “No” when someone calls and asks “Do you speak English?”. Just to see what kind of reaction I’d get
There’s a new Apple store opening up tomorrow, and I’m gonna get up hecka early (store opens at 7am) and get a 30 gig iPod for $60.. I’m also considering getting a MacBook, cause it’s such an awesome deal and I’ve kinda always wanted a Mac.. Hopefully they have some left when my cousin and I get there.
Been a pretty quiet weekend, I was too tired to do anything really. I went to watch “Sex and the City” in theaters yesterday with Gro and Sarah. Sarah’s baby is due really soon now, July 9th! I can’t wait to see it. Sarah is so cute pregnant

On Friday night I farmed organs for a gorget so I could get my novia. First I teamed up with some galka ninja that was there, and then Kelenae and Morg came to help me. Thanks a lot, owe you guys one

European championship soccer finale is on very soon, Germany vs Spain!

I downloaded the Sex & the City movie, that I’m supposed to watch with Gro haha. I’ll still go watch it with her though - I won’t mind at all watching it on the big screen I loved every part of the movie, it pretty much started where the series left, and it was an extremely good ending to the series I think. I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better movie really.
Jason Mraz is coming to Norway on July 4th, and I really really want to go. He’ll be having a concert in Oslo, but it’s a Friday - and seeing how I still have like 3 weeks vacation, it’s definitely a possibility.. However I don’t want to go alone… I think I’ll ask some friends, and my sister and see if any of them are interested.. I know he’s GREAT live though and I don’t want to miss this! Arghz.
Work has been very tiring this week. Good thing I have a day off tomorrow I’ve been on the phone switch board (day shifts) yesterday and today, and obviously there are a lot of calls. Answering the phone all day and being polite to so many makes you so grumpy haha. Back to my reception on Thursday and then phone switch board again on Friday. At least I don’t have to work Friday night!
