I’m so tired at work
Half the programs we’re supposed to use aren’t working either, so this looks like it’ll be a good day haha.. I’ve been here for about 3 hours now and can’t wait to go home! Sipping my second cup of coffee and planning on having lunch in about two hours. I haven’t started watching any tv shows yet but I did bring my external hard drive ![]()
Anyway, my ticket to Japan is bought and confirmed
I’m leaving on April 28th, arrive on the 29th and come back on May 10th. I can’t wait, I know I’ll have a blast
Gary and Arthur - see you there!
I gotta buy a railpass still, and buy a dress to wear for the wedding.
No real plans for the weekend yet.. Or well, Kitan (the horse I have twice a week) is competing so I guess I’m grroming for his owner on Saturday and Sunday which means I gotta get up early. And besides, with all the drinking I did when I was visiting my sister I’m sure my body would appreciate a weekend without alcohol haha.
Back home
I got back home from my sister’s yesterday. My trip was good
I really enjoyed the 4 days with my sister. My parents and me went to Oslo by car last Tuesday, and then they took me to my sister’s on Wednesday. We went out for dinner to celebrate my sister’s birthday (which was on the 17th), had really really good Indian food, and then went back to her apartment for cake and coffee
Then they left, and my sister and I watched “Stardust” on dvd. Thursday we headed to her workshop (her and a friend have started their own business) and were there for a couple of hours, before we headed back home, watched “LotR Return of the King” and had some drinks before eventually going downtown to a bar, hehe. We ended up at a place called “Sky Bar”, which ironically enough is on the top floor of a hotel there
We danced and drank and had fun, and my sister got really drunk, haha.
Friday we went out for coffee and stuff, and went to watch a movie in the evening. We watched “The Orphanage” which is a Spanish horror movie, although it’s more of the kinda movie that plays with your mind (think “The 6th sense” and “The Others”) and the story itself is actually quite tragic. A very enjoyable movie though
We headed to a bar after where they had a concert, but went home pretty early cause we were both pretty tired.
Saturday I decided I needed a new shirt and new sunglasses (I can’t find mine) so we went shopping
I ended up with two new shirts, two new hats (one is blue and it’s absolutely fab!) and sunglasses
Pretty happy with what I bought. We went home and relaxed a little, before some people came over and we started drinking hehe. Was a fun night ![]()
I took the airport express bus on Sunday, and got home around 6pm yesterday. Fredrikstad (which is where my sister lives) was FREEZING, and it snowed on Thursday.. Imagine my eyes when I walked out of the airport here and it was snowing here too
We usually don’t get much snow, nor does it get very cold in the winter here where my parents’ house is.
Oh, I took pictures but they won’t be on here… The pictures are up on facebook and on photobucket though, so if you want to see, leave me a comment ![]()
Back to work on Wednesday..
Busy, busy, busy…
Yeah like the title says, I’m too busy for my own good! Okay not really, but I’m barely home anymore. If I’m not at work I’m out, with friends, at stables, or grooming for my friend and her horse when they’re competing. Not that I’m complaining or anything.
I’m taking a much needed vacation from Tuesday though. I’m off work from Tuesday till next Wednesday from work, so I’m gonna go visit my sister
We’re not going to do anything special, but I haven’t seen her since Christmas. Our parents are going to Sweden for Easter, but I don’t really feel like going, so Easter at my sister’s it is. I’m driving with my parents on Tuesday from here to Oslo, and then probably to my sister’s on Wednesday, and I fly home from Oslo on Sunday.
Man, been so busy that I haven’t even had time to catch up on OTH or Lost ![]()
Really tired at work even though I managed to get about 6 hours of sleep. And yes, I struggled to get up this morning, starting work at 7am is just way too early, cause it means I have to get up around 5:35am. I’m stuck here till 4:20, then I gotta go home, change and go stables, extra day with the horse - I usually only have him on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
My body’s sore and a bit achy after my riding lesson yesterday (each Sunday and Tuesday we have a dressage trainer giving lessons, so I ride every Tuesday). I should’ve stretched after I was done yesterday.. Oh well.
Stuck at one of the really boring receptions today, so I brought my external harddrive with me to work and headphones. Watching Grey’s Anatomy to have something to do, haha. So today I’ve pretty much gotten paid for doing nothing but watch tv shows, which I guess isn’t too bad.
Lost, and other ramblings..
Well I recently watched episode 5 of Lost, was going to write about this earlier but I’ve been busy I think o_O. It was such a good episode, and it definitely had many of those “OMG WTF” moments. I really really hope Desmond and Penny get their happy ending, they soooo deserve it! I can’t believe Penny has waited for all these years. Can’t wait for episode 6!
My week-end was pretty quiet. I headed to Ali’s on Friday night, we just hung out and had a few drinks. It was a nice quiet night in though, and we had fun and that’s all that matters anyway ![]()
Off work today and tomorrow, and then I work Wednesday and Friday. Working dayshifts this week, I know I’ll hella struggle getting up on Wednesday..
